Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl identifikovat klíčové rozdíly mezi železniční sítí České republiky a železniční sítí Švýcarské konfederace a následně navrhnout možná opatření pro zlepšení efektivity a konkurenceschopnosti železniční nákladní dopravy v České republice tak, aby byl zabezpečen její pozitivní rozvoj. Prostředkem pro odhalení rozdílů mezi železničními sítěmi je srovnávací analýza, která zkoumá dostupné statistiky z oblasti výkonnosti a efektivity těchto železnic. V práci je taktéž rozebrána úloha mezinárodních úmluv a organizací v železniční dopravě a role železniční dopravy v dnešním globalizovaném světe. |

The bachelor thesis aims to identify key differences between the railway networks of the Czech Republic and the Swiss Confederation and subsequently propose possible measures to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of railway freight transport in the Czech Republic, ensuring its positive development. The means to uncover the differences between the railway networks is a comparative analysis, which examines available statistics on the performance and efficiency of these railways. The thesis also discusses the role of international conventions and organizations in railway transport and the role of railway transport in today's globalized world. |
