This issue is applied to the Křivoklátsko region. The thesis's aim is to evaluate the prerequisites for the development of tourism in the specified region. The theoretical part first defines basic concepts in the field of tourism, further elaborates on the concept of destination, and defines the prerequisites for tourism. The practical part focuses on a closer definition of the region, examines its management, the offer of natural and cultural-historical attractions of Křivoklátsko, and analyses the infrastructure of the area, specifically transportation, accommodation, and gastronomic services. The methodology includes the use of SWOT analysis, personal observations, and qualitative research conducted by the destination organization Berounsko. In conclusion, the thesis proposes measures and recommendations that could contribute to the more effective development of tourism in the Křivoklátsko region. |
