Tato práce se zabývá světovým obchodem s kakaem se zaměřením na Pobřeží slonoviny. První kapitola se zabývá kakaem obecně, jeho pěstováním, odrůdami, historií a také světovým obchodem s kakaem pohledem literatury. Ve druhé kapitole jsou postupně analyzovány produkce, spotřeba, export, import a cena kakaa. Součástí druhé kapitoly jsou také tři vybrané aspekty odvětví kakaa, jimiž jsou fair trade, životní prostředí a dětská práce. Třetí kapitola je věnována Pobřeží slonoviny. Její součástí je profil ekonomiky této země, postavení na světovém trhu s kakaem a pracovní podmínky producentů kakaa, včetně dětské práce. |

The Bachelor thesis examines world cocoa trade with a focus on Côte d'Ivoire. The first chapter deals with cocoa in general, its cultivation, varieties, history, and also the world cocoa trade from a literature perspective. In the second chapter, the production, consumption, export, import, and price of cocoa are analysed. Three selected aspects of the cocoa sector, which are fair trade, environment, and child labour, are also included in the second chapter. The third chapter is devoted to Côte d'Ivoire. It includes a profile of the country's economy, its position in the world cocoa market, and the working conditions of cocoa producers, including child labour. |
