Tato práce se zabývá zapojením mezinárodního společenství do řešení války při rozpadu Jugoslávie v 90. letech 20. století. Hlavním cílem je na základě analýzy zhodnotit, proč mezinárodní společenství nezakročilo a nezastavilo jugoslávskou válku dříve. Autor si toto téma vybral na základě aktuálnosti přístupových rozhovorů s Bosnou a Hercegovinou do EU. Příčiny války jsou zasazeny do národnostně-historického hlediska a specifického mezinárodního postavení Jugoslávie. Na základě teoretického rámce autor rozdělil mezinárodní společenství na EU, OSN a NATO, jejichž vliv na konflikt je analyzován do doby podepsání Daytonské dohody. Na základě výzkumu byly zhodnoceny faktory, které ovlivnily postup mezinárodního společenství. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis examines the Involvement of the International Community in the resolution of the War during the break-up of Yugoslavia in the 1990s. The main objective is to assess through analysis why the International Community did not intervene and stop the Yugoslav War earlier. The author chose this topic based on the EU accession talks with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The causes of the War are set in the national-historical perspective and the specific international status of Yugoslavia. Based on the theoretical framework, the author divides the International Community into the EU, the UN and NATO, whose influence is analysed until the signing of the Dayton Agreement. Based on the research, the factors that influenced the progress of the International Community were evaluated. |
