| Abstract: |
The Guianas region, including Guyana, French Guiana, and Suriname, an overlooked territory in the past, has emerged as an economically promising area in South America due to its natural resources. This thesis aims to evaluate the current business environment and associated risks in the region. Through a traditional literature review and a PEST analysis, key industries, regulatory frameworks, infrastructure conditions, and business trends are examined. Additionally, the study explores the experience of international companies in the Guianas region and identifies potential risks for entrepreneurs. |

Oblast Guayany, včetně Guyany, Francouzské Guayany a Surinamu, v minulosti přehlížené území, se díky svým přírodním zdrojům stala ekonomicky perspektivní oblastí Jižní Ameriky. Cílem této práce je zhodnotit současné podnikatelské prostředí a související rizika v tomto regionu. Prostřednictvím tradičního přehledu literatury a PEST analýzy jsou zkoumána klíčová odvětví, regulační rámce, podmínky infrastruktury a obchodní trendy. Kromě toho studie zkoumá zkušenosti mezinárodních společností v regionu Guianas a identifikuje potenciální rizika pro podnikatele. |
