Bakalářská práce se zabývá automobilovým sektorem a dopady v odvětví, které vyvolala pandemie COVID-19. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaký vliv měla krize vyvolaná pandemií na automobilový sektor Německa. Součástí práce je dále i pohled na strukturu a vývoj dodavatelského a hodnotového řetězce, který je s odvětvím provázán. V rámci první kapitoly je představen automobilový dodavatelský řetězec a jeho základní části. Dále význam daného průmyslu pro ekonomiku Německa a postavení dané země a německých automobilek v těchto řetězcích. Druhá kapitola se zabývá dopady pandemie na automobilový sektor v globálním měřítku, následně se zaměřuje na Německo, kde je zkoumán vývoj exportů a prodejů automobilů. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na koncern Volkswagen, jeho postavení na trhu, změny v dodavatelských řetězcích a nové strategie, které s sebou pandemie přinesla. |

| Abstract: |
The bachelor thesis looks into the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on the automotive sector. The aim of the thesis is to determine which effects the crisis caused by the pandemic had on the automotive sector in Germany. Furthermore, it includes the structure and development of the supply and value chain that is linked to the industry. The first chapter presents the automotive supply chain and the main actors in it. This is followed by the importance of the industry for the economy of Germany and its role in the automotive global value chains. In the second chapter the impact of the pandemic on the global automotive sector and the automotive industry in Germany is elaborated. Regarding Germany, the development of exports and car sales is explored. The final chapter focuses on the Volkswagen Group and its position on the car market, changes in the supply chains and new strategies that were implemented due to the pandemic. |
