Tato práce se zabývá potenciálem rozvoje turismu v Ománu. Cílem práce je zjistit, do jaké míry má turismus v Ománu potenciál, poskytnout příležitost získat představu jak o zemi samotné, tak i o okolním regionu. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola této práce se zabývá Ománem, kdy zde budou představeny jeho základní informace, všeobecné geografické a demografické předpoklady. Druhá kapitola vymezuje základní pojmy, které budou v práci použity a dále pak popíše užitou metodiku, skrze například analýzu, komparaci či polostrukturované rozhovory. Následující třetí kapitola konkrétně porovnává konkurenceschopnost Ománu jako destinace a komponenty turistického potenciálu. Pod tuto kapitolu dále budou zařazeny pod kapitoly, které uvádějí informace o vstupních podmínkách a předpokladech Ománu, dále pak popisují jeho historii a příznivé prostředí, jeho zdravotní rizika a v neposlední řadě také uvádí infrastrukturu, která například zmiňuje data o ubytování v Ománu. Praktická část této práce se zabývá, skrze polostrukturované rozhovory, zjištěním postoje rezidentů k potenciálu rozvoje turismu v Ománu, a v následující podkapitole tato data budou dále analyzována. |

| Abstract: |
This work deals with the potential of the development of tourism in Oman. The aim of the work is to find out to what extent tourism has the potential in Oman, to give the opportunity to get an idea of both the country itself and about the surrounding region. The bachelor thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter of this work deals with Oman, where it is mentioned its basic information, general geographical and demographic prerequisites. The second chapter defines the basic concepts that will be used at work and then describe the methodology used, through, for example, analysis, comparison or semi -structured interviews. In particular, the following third chapter compares Oman's competitiveness as destinations and tourist potential components. This chapter will also be included under chapters that report information about the input conditions and the assumptions of Oman, as well as describing its history and favorable environment, its health risks and, last but not least, it also presents an infrastructure that mentions, for example, accommodation data in Oman. The practical part of this work deals with, through semi -structured interviews, finding the attitude of residents to the potential of tourism development in Oman, and the following subchapters will be further analyzed. |
