| Abstract: | Falšování potravin je globální problém, který vážně ohrožuje zdraví a ekonomické zájmy spotřebitelů, zejména v rámci Evropské unie. Cílem je navrhnout opatření pro zlepšení informovanosti spotřebitelů a snížení rizika nákupu falšovaných potravin. Teoretická část poskytuje základní pojmy a informace o falšování potravin, včetně legislativního rámce a úloh dozorových orgánů. Praktická část se zaměřuje na analýzu současné situace na trhu Evropské unie s důrazem na med a olivový olej a srovnává úroveň informovanosti spotřebitelů o falšovaných potravinách mezi Českou a Slovenskou republikou. |

| Abstract: | Food adulteration is a global problem that seriously threatens the health and economic interests of consumers, particularly within the European Union. The aim is to propose measures to improve consumer awareness and reduce the risk of buying counterfeit food. The theoretical part provides basic concepts and information about food adulteration, including the legislative framework and the role of supervisory authorities. The practical part focuses on the analysis of the current situation in the European Union market with emphasis on honey and olive oil and compares the level of consumer awareness of counterfeit food between the Czech and Slovak Republics. |
