| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá deníkem The Times of Israel a jeho postojem vůči současné válce na Ukrajině. Případová studie zkoumá prostřednictvím kvalitativní obsahové analýzy narativ deníku ve věci války na Ukrajině, a dále mapuje jeho proměny ve sledovaném období od 24. února 2022 do 31. prosince 2023. Práce identifikovaný narativ komparuje s oficiálními prohlášeními izraelské vlády, a identifikuje jejich rozdíly. Mimo hlavní cíl má práce také upozornit na důležitost médií a jejich interpretaci v dnešním světě. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the online newspaper The Times of Israel and its attitude towards the current war in Ukraine. The case study examines through a qualitative content analysis the narrative of the newspaper in matters of war in Ukraine, and further maps its transformations in the monitored period from February 24, 2022 to December 31, 2023. The work compares the identified narrative with the official statements of the Israeli government and identifies their differences. Apart from the main goal, the thesis also aims to draw attention to the importance of the media and their interpretation in today's world. |
