| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dopady americko-čínské obchodní války na fenomén reshoringu, tedy přesun výrobních procesů zpět do domovské země. Hlavním cílem je posoudit, jak obchodní válka ovlivnila rozhodovací procesy a jaké důsledky měla pro americké ekonomické prostředí. Metodologie této bakalářské práce zahrnuje především rešerši literatury na dané téma a analýzu dat z amerických statistických úřadů a Reshoring Institute, který se zaměřuje přímo na americké společnosti provádějící reshoring. Práce dospěla k závěru, že obchodní válka skutečně měla vliv na rozhodování amerických firem týkající se sourcingu, avšak celkové rozhodovací procesy byly ovlivněny širším spektrem faktorů. Těmito faktory jsou technologický pokrok, a to konkrétně zavádění automatizace ve Spojených státech, změny ve spotřebitelské poptávce podnícené Trumpovými slogany a politickými hesly, a dále také zvyšující se mzdy v Číně. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis addresses the impacts of the US-China trade war on the phenomenon of reshoring, which is the relocation of production processes back to the home country. The main objective is to assess how the trade war influenced decision-making processes and what consequences it had for the American economic environment. The methodology of this thesis primarily involves a literature review on the subject and an analysis of data from American statistical offices and the Reshoring Institute, which focuses directly on American companies undertaking reshoring. The thesis concludes that the trade war indeed had an impact on the decision-making of American companies regarding sourcing, but the overall decision-making processes were influenced by a broader range of factors. These factors include technological advancements, specifically the implementation of automation in the United States, changes in consumer demand spurred by Trump's slogans, and also increasing wages in China. |
