| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je určit faktory, které pomohly Spojeným arabským emirátům stát se jednou z nejlepších ekonomik světa. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část práce předkládá historický přehled, v němž se zaměřuje na vývoj regionu a roli Velké Británie ve vzniku federace. Dále se věnuje aktuální situaci, přičemž rozpracovává témata zahraniční politiky a ekonomických trendů. Druhá část se soustředí na roli ropného a plynárenského sektoru, strategie diverzifikace a metody přitahování zahraničních investic. Poslední část práce je zaměřena na analýzu a srovnání ekonomického vývoje SAE a Kataru za účelem určení úspěšnějšího modelu. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to identify the factors that have helped the United Arab Emirates to become one of the best economies in the world. The work is divided into three parts. The first part presents a historical overview focusing on the development of the region and the role of Great Britain in the creation of the federation. It also addresses the current situation, elaborating on foreign policy themes and economic trends. The second part focuses on the role of the oil and gas sector, diversification strategies, and methods for attracting foreign investment. The last part of the thesis is aimed at analyzing and comparing the economic development of the UAE and Qatar to determine a more successful model. |
