| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou zastoupení žen ve vedoucích pozicích v leteckém průmyslu. Cílem práce bylo zhodnotit současný stav genderové diverzity v leteckém managementu, poukázat na vývoj zastoupení žen ve strategickém managementu, programy, které se této problematice věnují, změny a výzvy s větším zastoupením žen a v neposlední řadě zdokumentovat situaci v Evropě. K zjištění stavu zkoumané problematiky v různých státech Evropy byla využita kvalitativní analýza formou vícepřípadové studie. Zjištěné výsledky nejen doplnily teorii o zkušenosti respondentů, ale poskytly i doporučení pro společnosti a politiky jiných zemí, jak mohou podpořit větší inkluzi a využít potenciál žen k dosažení strategických cílů v globálním leteckém průmyslu. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis deals with the topic of representation of women in management positions in the aviation industry. The aim of the thesis was to assess the current state of gender diversity in aviation management and to highlight the evolution of women's representation in strategic management as well as the programs that address this issue. Also, what changes and challenges are emerging with more women in leadership positions and finally to document the situation in Europe. A qualitative analysis in the form of a multi-case study done through interviews was used to establish the state of the art in the different European countries. The findings not only expanded the theory, but also provided recommendations for companies and policies in other countries on how they can promote greater inclusion and harness the potential of women to achieve strategic goals in the global aviation industry. |
