| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na analýzu vlivu nelegální migrace na hraniční kontroly v Schengenském prostoru s důrazem na přístupy Itálie, Španělska a Řecka převážně v letech 2015-2023. V práci je použita metoda komparativní analýzy. V teoretické části jsou definovány klíčové pojmy jako bezpečnost hranic, hraniční kontroly, uprchlictví a nelegální migrace, které jsou zásadní pro pochopení migračních procesů a politik. V empirické části jsou podrobně rozebrány hraniční politiky jednotlivých zemí, včetně historie ochrany hranic a současných strategií, jakými jsou fyzické bariéry a technologické kontroly. Práce hodnotí efektivitu těchto opatření a poskytuje srovnání mezi vybranými státy. V závěru práce nabízí doporučení pro zlepšení stávajících politik. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the impact of illegal migration on border controls in the Schengen area, with a focus on the approaches of Italy, Spain, and Greece, mainly in the period 2015–2023. The theoretical part defines key concepts such as border security, border controls, refugees, and irregular migration, which are crucial for understanding migration processes and policies. The empirical part provides a detailed discussion of the border policies of each country, including the history of border protection and current strategies such as physical barriers and technological controls. The thesis evaluates the effectiveness of these measures and provides comparisons between selected countries. It concludes by offering recommendations for improving existing policies. |
