Reporting of supply and demand for capacity planning in various factories

The aim of the thesis is creation of a general solution of capacity reporting in factories. This general solution should simplify and standardize procedures and architectures used to create similar reporting tools for various customers from different factories. The general solution consists of a general data model, theoretical design of architecture, and pre-made steps of architecture that serve as a basis for individual reporting implementations. Since the solution should be regarded as a product developed for Business Intelligence department, of which is the author of this thesis member, the emphasis of the topic is placed on meeting business requirements, which are primarily concision and clarity of used methods and procedures. The development of entire general solution is based on an original solution already developed for an unnamed customer in the past. Meaningfulness of created general solution is tested by its implementation as an upgraded version of original solution from the past, while utilizing principles of the general solution. The thesis works with software SQL, KNIME, Tableau, Power BI.
