Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem pořadatelství mega-sportovních událostí na ekonomické ukazatele pořadatelských států. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí, z nichž první představuje teoretický rámec všech specifických pojmů a souvislostí. Druhá část se dále zabývá metaanalýzou literatury čtyř mega-sportovních událostí pořádaných na území rozvojových států ze skupiny BRICS (tzn. Brazílie, Číny a Jihoafrické republiky). Třetí a zároveň poslední část se posléze zaměřuje na metaanalýzu literatury čtyř mega-sportovních událostí pořádaných na území vyspělých států ze skupiny G7 (tzn. Německa, Japonska a Velké Británie). Cílem práce je na základě komparativní metaanalýzy literatury zhodnotit, jak může pořadatelství mega-sportovních událostí ovlivnit ekonomické pořadatelských daných států. |

The diploma thesis focuses on the impact of hosting major sporting events on the economic indicators of hosting states. It is divided into three main parts, with the first part presenting the theoretical framework of specific terms and relationships. The second part conducts a meta-analysis of literature on four major sporting events held in developing countries from the BRICS group (Brazil, China, and South Africa). The third and final part then focuses on a meta-analysis of literature on four major sporting events held in developed countries from the G7 group (Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom). The thesis aims to evaluate, through a comparative meta-analysis of the literature, how hosting major sporting events can influence the economic indicators of the hosting states. |
