| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou testování žáků na COVID-19 na základních školách v České republice. Testování se stalo klíčovým opatřením v boji proti šíření pandemie ve školním prostředí. Cílem práce je pečlivě zhodnotit a analyzovat přístup k testování s ohledem na dosažení maximální efektivity při minimalizaci negativních dopadů na životy a vzdělávání mladých lidí, a to z pohledu Ministerstva školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy ČR. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována vlivu dvou hlavních metod testování – RT-PCR testování a testování RAT antigenními testy – na délku doby, po kterou byli žáci nuceni zůstat v domácí karanténě nebo izolaci. V praktické části jsou analyzována data poskytnutá v rámci studie Hygienickou stanicí Hlavního města Prahy, na základě kterých je proveden výzkum dopadů obou metod testování na osobní přítomnost žáků při výuce a analýza metodou CEA jejich nákladové efektivity, s cílem identifikovat variantu testování, která má potenciál snížit absence žáků při prezenční výuce. Výzkumná otázka, která je v práci zkoumána, se tak zaměřuje na porovnání efektivity obou přístupů k testování a jejich schopnosti minimalizovat absenci žáků při prezenční výuce. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the issue of testing pupils for COVID-19 at primary schools in the Czech Republic. Testing has become a key measure in the fight against the spread of the pandemic in the school environment. The aim of the work is to carefully evaluate and analyze the approach to testing with a view to achieving maximum efficiency while minimizing negative impacts on the lives and education of young people, from the point of view of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Physical Education of the Czech Republic. Particular attention is paid to the effect of the two main testing methods – RT-PCR testing and RAT antigen test testing – on the length of time pupils were forced to remain in home quarantine or isolation. In the practical part, the data provided as part of the study by the Hygiene Station of the Capital City of Prague are analysed, on the basis of which research is carried out on the effects of both testing methods on the personal presence of pupils during teaching and an analysis of their cost effectiveness using the CEA method, with the aim of identifying a variant of testing that has the potential to reduce absence of pupils during face-to-face teaching. The research question that is investigated in the paper thus focuses on comparing the effectiveness of both approaches to testing and their ability to minimize student absenteeism in face-to-face teaching. |
