Operational reporting with Power BI

The thesis topic is focused on the implementation of Self Service Business Intelligence solution into operational reporting in a credit insurance company using Microsoft Power BI tool. The thesis analyses the current processes and tools in the business analytics in the company and then proposes and implements a new solution using Power BI technology. In the first part, the thesis is introduced in the context of the researched issue. Next, an analysis of the current state of operational reporting is conducted during the thesis, which includes the users' perspective. Subsequently, an implementation of a new form of interactive reporting is made and finally the effectiveness of the new solution is evaluated, again using feedback from key users. The thesis focuses on the resulting new visualizations tracking key indicators in the credit insurance industry. The thesis also highlights the integration with Microsoft products and the benefits of using the licensed Power BI tool. The thesis results in a more efficient and modern data analysis environment that provides relevant and accurate information for the company's strategic decision making.
