| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem asistivních technologií pro lidi se zrakovým postižením v České republice. Cílem práce je prozkoumat oblast asistivních technologií a zjistit, zda jsou aplikace pro zrakově postižené přístupné a následně navrhnout zlepšení aplikace. Teoretická část se nejprve zabývá zrakem, zrakovým aparátem a zrakovými vadami, která pomůže poznat a porozumět osobám se zrakovým handicapem. Následují kapitoly zaměřené na kompenzační pomůcky a dostupné asistivní technologie. Na závěr této části jsou zhodnoceny aplikace určené pro zrakově postižené. Výzkumná část zpracovává výsledky dotazníkového šetření – informace o dostupnosti a využívání aplikací zrakově postiženými. Na závěr jsou shrnuty a zhodnoceny výsledky dotazníkového šetření. Poté následuje návrh na zlepšení vybrané aplikace RegioJet. Ústředním zjištěním je, že aplikace, které jsou vytvořené přímo pro zrakově postižené jsou jimi využívány a také jsou s nimi spokojeni. Co se týče klasických aplikací jako jsou bankovní aplikace, aplikace pro objednání jídla či přepravu, tak nelze říci, že jsou všechny plně přístupné. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the topic of assistive technologies for people with visual impairment in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to investigate the field of assistive technologies and to find out whether the applications are accessible for the visually impaired and then to suggest improvements to the applications. The theoretical part first discusses vision, the visual system and visual impairments to help to know and understand people with visual impairments. This is followed by chapters focusing on compensatory aids and available assistive technologies. This section concludes with an assessment of applications designed for the visually impaired. The research section elaborates the results of the questionnaire survey - information on the accessibility and use of apps by the visually impaired. Finally, the results of the questionnaire survey are summarised and evaluated. This is followed by a proposal for improvement of the selected RegioJet application. The central finding is that apps that are designed specifically for the visually impaired are used by them and they are also satisfied with them. As far as traditional applications like banking applications, food ordering applications or transportation applications are concerned, it cannot be said that all of them are fully accessible |
