| Abstract: | Cílem práce je zjistit informační potřeby baseballové a softballové komunity se způsobem vyhledávání, tedy zda využívá i pokročilé dotazy či si vystačí s jednoduchými a jaké informační zdroje používá. V teoretické části představím oba sporty, trochu historie a rozdíly mezi nimi. V další kapitole se zaměřím na informace obecně, na operace s nimi a definuji pojmy informační potřeba a informační chování. V praktické části popíši role ve sportu a na základě dotazníkového šetření zanalyzuji informační potřeby komunity a také její způsob vyhledávání. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to find out the information needs of the baseball and softball community with the way of searching, i.e. whether they use advanced queries or make do with simple ones and what information sources they use. In the theoretical part I will introduce both sports, a little history and the differences between them. In the next section, I will focus on information in general, information operations and define the concepts of information need and information behaviour. In the practical part I will describe the roles in the sport and use a questionnaire survey to analyse the information need of the community as well as its search behaviour. |
