Comparison of paper and web questionnaires and preparation of data for statistical analysis in RStudio software

The bachelor thesis focuses on the comparison of paper and web questionnaires and their preparation for analysis in RStudio software. The main objective is to provide a comprehensive overview of both types of questionnaires, data integration into the environment of the selected software and methods of its preparation, which means transforming variables into a suitable form for analysis and processing missing data. An example is the questionnaire created for the purpose of this thesis and converted into two forms, namely a paper and a web version. In addition, the questionnaire helps to understand the respondents' preferences for the research as it has the same topic as this bachelor thesis. The methods used include questionnaire development where the web version was created using Google Forms online platform, data collection and preparation, visualization using graphs and its comparison. The results show differences in the integration of data from different types of questionnaires and in the process of processing the responses. The conducted questionnaire survey highlights the possible dependence of the preference of the type of questioning on the age of the respondent. New findings include a better understanding of the issues involved in preparing data from paper and web-based questionnaire types and provides practical approaches to integrating these data into the RStudio environment.
