| Abstract: | Obsahem práce je popsání nástrojů určených pro vyhledávání informací na internetu. Tato práce je rozdělena na dvě části – teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části popisuji nástroje, jejich použití za účelem kvalitnějšího vyhledávání informací a jakým způsobem fungují. Polovina teoretické práce je věnována tradičním nástrojům pro vyhledávání odborných a neodborných informací. Druhá polovina teoretické části je věnována AI chatbotům, kde popisuji technologie a principy na kterých fungují. Uvádím zde také příklady AI chatbotů a způsoby jejich používání. Pro praktickou část jsem zvolil metodu kvantitativního výzkumu formou dotazníkového šetření mezi studenty Fakulty informatiky a statistiky na Vysoké škole ekonomické v Praze studující bakalářské studium. V dotazníkovém šetření jsem studentům pokládal otázky ohledně používaných nástrojů k vyhledávání odborných a neodborných informací na internetu. Poté jsem zaměřil svou pozornost na jejich zkušenosti a způsoby používání AI chatbotů během vyhledávání informací a využití při studiu. |

| Abstract: | The content of this thesis is to describe tools designed for searching information on the internet. This work is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, I describe the tools, their usage for better quality information searches, and how they function. Half of the theoretical work is dedicated to traditional tools for searching both scholarly and non-scholarly information. The second half of the theoretical part is focused on AI chatbots, where I discuss the technologies and principles upon which they operate. I also provide examples of AI chatbots and methods of their usage. For the practical part, I chose a quantitative research method through a questionnaire survey among students of the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the Prague University of Economics and Business, who are at their bachelor studies. In the survey, I asked students about the tools they use to search for scholarly and non-scholarly information on the internet. Then, I focused on their experiences and methods of using AI chatbots during information searches and their utilization in studies. |
