The use of artificial intelligence tools in business intelligence

The bachelor's thesis examines the integration of modern generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools, including the ChatGPT-4 model, in the field of business intelligence (BI). It begins with research, which created the basis for identifying research directions for the use of artificial intelligence in business intelligence and the selection of specific AI tools used in practical implementation. The work provides a detailed review of relevant areas, clarifies key concepts such as business intelligence and artificial intelligence, and describes the application of these AI tools implemented in analytical BI tools together with the ChatGPT-4 model on a selected dataset. The analysis is concluded with a detailed evaluation of the implementation to verify the capabilities of generative artificial intelligence tools in processing and analyzing data in BI and their potential practical application in real-world scenarios. In addition, it contains a comparative analysis showing the capabilities and potential of the ChatGPT-4 model compared to other BI platforms. The primary objective of this study is to analyze innovative AI tools in BI analytics and assess their practical use and use compared to ChatGPT-4 through targeted research, selection, implementation and evaluation.

Bakalářská práce zkoumá integraci moderních nástrojů generativní umělé inteligence (AI), včetně modelu ChatGPT-4, v oblasti business intelligence (BI). Začíná rešerší, která vytvořila základ pro identifikaci směrů výzkumu využití umělé inteligence v business intelligence a pro výběr konkrétních AI nástrojů použitých v praktické implementaci. Práce poskytuje detailní přezkoumání relevantních oblastí, objasňuje klíčové pojmy, jako business intelligence a umělá inteligence, a popisuje aplikaci těchto AI nástrojů implementovaných v analytických BI nástrojích spolu s modelem ChatGPT-4 na vybraném testovacím datasetu. Analýza je zakončena podrobným hodnocením implementace, s cílem ověřit schopnosti nástrojů generativní umělé inteligence při zpracování a analyzování údajů v BI a jejich potenciální praktickou aplikaci ve scénářích reálného světa. Kromě toho obsahuje komparativní analýzu poukazující na možnosti a potenciál modelu ChatGPT-4 ve srovnání s jinými platformami BI. Primárním cílem této studie je analyzovat inovativní nástroje umělé inteligence v analytice business intelligence a posoudit jejich praktickou aplikaci a využití v porovnání s ChatGPT-4 prostřednictvím cíleného výzkumu, výběru, implementace a hodnocení.
