| Abstract: | Umělá inteligence má potenciál revolučně změnit oblast zdravotnictví. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu postojů široké veřejnosti a zdravotníků k využití AI v této oblasti. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda je vnímání AI ve zdravotnictví převážně pozitivní, zda znalosti o AI v této oblasti jsou nízké, zda se široká veřejnost obává dehumanizace péče a zda zdravotníci vnímají AI jako hrozbu pro své profese. Teoretická část bakalářské práce shrnuje klíčové poznatky o umělé inteligenci, jejím využití ve zdravotnictví a souvisejících etických a právních otázkách. Také mapuje aktuální percepci a postoje k AI ve zdravotnictví po světě. Cílem je komplexně objasnit problematiku a připravit půdu pro vlastní výzkum v praktické části. Ke sběru dat byl použit kvantitativní výzkum ve formě online dotazníku. Dotazník byl distribuován mezi širokou veřejnost a zdravotníky. Bylo shromážděno celkem 121 respondentů. Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že vnímání AI ve zdravotnictví je komplexní a zahrnuje jak optimistické, tak i skeptické postoje. Většina respondentů vnímá AI jako nástroj s velkým potenciálem pro zlepšení péče o pacienty. Obě skupiny respondentů (lékaři a široká veřejnost) preferují, aby AI doplňovala, nikoli nahrazovala lidské lékaře. Existuje značný nedostatek povědomí o potenciálu AI ve zdravotnictví. Široká veřejnost vyjadřuje obavy z dehumanizace péče v důsledku implementace AI. Zdravotníci vnímají AI spíše jako doplňkový nástroj, který jim pomůže v jejich práci, a nevnímají ji jako hrozbu pro své profese. Tato práce přispívá k pochopení postojů široké veřejnosti a zdravotníků k využití AI ve zdravotnictví. Poskytuje cenné informace pro tvůrce politik, vývojáře AI a poskytovatele zdravotní péče při implementaci AI v praxi. Zvyšuje povědomí o potenciálu AI pro zlepšení péče o pacienty a zdůrazňuje důležitost etického a zodpovědného přístupu k této technologii. |

| Abstract: | Artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionize the healthcare sector. This bachelor's thesis focuses on analysing the attitudes of the general public and healthcare professionals towards the use of AI in this field. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether the perception of AI in healthcare is predominantly positive, whether knowledge about AI in this area is low, whether the general public fears the dehumanization of care, and whether healthcare professionals perceive AI as a threat to their professions. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis summarizes key findings on artificial intelligence, its use in healthcare, and related ethical and legal issues. It also maps current perceptions and attitudes towards AI in healthcare around the world. The aim is to comprehensively clarify the issue and prepare the ground for the author's own research in the practical part. Quantitative research in the form of an online questionnaire was used to collect data. The questionnaire was distributed to the general public and healthcare professionals. A total of 121 respondents were collected. The research results showed that the perception of AI in healthcare is complex and includes both optimistic and sceptical attitudes. Most respondents perceive AI as a tool with great potential to improve patient care. Both groups of respondents (doctors and the general public) prefer AI to complement, rather than replace, human doctors. There is a significant lack of awareness of the potential of AI in healthcare. The general public expresses concern about the dehumanization of care as a result of the implementation of AI. Healthcare professionals perceive AI more as a complementary tool that will help them in their work and do not perceive it as a threat to their professions. This thesis contributes to the understanding of the attitudes of the general public and healthcare professionals towards the use of AI in healthcare. It provides valuable information for policy makers, AI developers, and healthcare providers when implementing AI in practice. It raises awareness of the potential of AI to improve patient care and emphasizes the importance of an ethical and responsible approach to this technology. |
