| Abstract: | Účelem této práce je prozkoumat momentální stav adopce bitcoinu a zjistit, jaké důvody lidé mají pro jeho použití. Práce se v teoretické části věnuje komplexnímu pohledu na vnímané selhání tradičních finančních systémů, jakožto jednomu z hlavních důvodů, proč bitcoin vznikl a proč ho mnoho lidí používá. Další část zjišťuje stav momentálního rozšíření ve světě s návazností na rešerši možných důvodů k adopci bitcoinu. Praktická část pomocí rozhovorů zjišťuje důvody a okolnosti používání bitcoinu u jednotlivců. Zaměřuje se na prozkoumání toho, zda mají různé znalosti ohledně fiat měn, technologické znalosti bitcoinu, povědomí o státních regulacích a jaký vliv tyto témata mají na jejich postoj k bitcoinu. |

| Abstract: | The purpose of this paper is to explore current state of bitcoin adoption and to find out what reasons people have for using it. The theoretical part of the thesis takes a comprehensive look at the perceived failure of traditional financial systems as one of the main reasons why bitcoin came into existence and why many people use it. The next section establishes the state of current diffusion in the world, with a follow-up investigation to find out the reasons and circumstances of bitcoin use by individuals. It focuses on exploring whether they have different knowledge about fiat currencies, technological knowledge of bitcoin, awareness of government regulations and how these topics influence their attitude towards bitcoin. |
