| Abstract: | Státy Visegrádské čtyřky jsou propojeny svou minulostí a ekonomicky. Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřená na komparativní analýzu ekonomických ukazatelů zemí Visegrádské čtyřky s cílem zjistit podobnosti a konvergence mezi státy. V první části byly porovnány základní ekonomické ukazatele, ze kterých vycházela nejlépe Česká republika. Následně byla srovnána struktura spotřebních košů pomocí měr vzdáleností a podobností. Ve třetí kapitole byla zkoumána ekonomická konvergence mezi státy, regiony a uvnitř států pomocí beta a sigma konvergence. Beta konvergence byla přítomná mezi státy i regiony, uvnitř regionů států byla přítomna pouze pro Slovensko a Maďarsko. Sigma konvergence byla také přítomna mezi státy a regiony, ale bylo ji možné rozdělit do dvou období: nejprve divergence a následně konvergence. Podobné to bylo i uvnitř regionů států, kde byl tento jev přítomen u Maďarska a Slovenska. Poslední kapitola se zaměřuje na otevřenost ekonomik, což bylo zkoumáno jako obchodní a finanční otevřenost. Výsledkem srovnání bylo, že nejvyšší obchodní otevřenost byla převážně na Slovensku a finanční otevřenost v Maďarsku. |

| Abstract: | The countries of the Visegrad Group are connected by their past and also economically. This bachelor’s thesis is focused on the comparative analysis of the economic indicators of the Visegrad Group countries with aim to identify similarities and economic convergence between countries. In the first part, the basic economic indicators were compared, from which the Czech Republic performed the best. Subsequently, the structure of consumption baskets using measures of distances and similarities were compared. In the third chapter, economic convergence between states, regions and within states using beta and sigma convergence were examined. Beta convergence was present between states and regions, within state regions it was present only for Slovakia and Hungary. Sigma convergence was also present between states and regions, but it could be divided into two periods: first divergence and then convergence. It was similar within the regions of the states, where this phenomenon was present in Hungary and Slovakia. The last chapter focuses on the economic openness, which was examined as a trade and financial openness. The result of the comparison was that the highest trade openness was mainly in Slovakia and financial openness in Hungary. |
