| Abstract: | Tato práce by měla pomoci odpovědět na otázku, do jaké míry spolu souvisí úspory domácností a saldo vládního rozpočtu a zkoumá platnost vztahu mezi ukazateli. Pracujeme zde s veřejně dostupnými daty z Eurostatu z let 1995 až 2022 za vybraných 23 zemí z Evropské unie. K analýza je použit modifikovaný párový t-test pomocí, kterého testujeme prostorové změny v Gaussově rovině. K vizualizaci a popisu vývoje těchto ukazatelů v čase jsou použity perceptuální mapy. |

| Abstract: | This work should help to answer the question to what extent household savings and the government budget balance are related and examines the validity of the relationship between the indicators. We work here with publicly available data from Eurostat from 1995 to 2022 for selected 23 countries from the European Union. A modified paired t-test is used for the analysis, with the help of which we test spatial changes in the Gaussian plane. Perceptual maps are used to visualize and describe the development of these indicators over time. |
