Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá možnou korelaci mezi oblíbeností map a vyrovnaností zápasů ve videohře Counter‑Strike: Global Offensive a Counter‑Strike 2. Analýza je založena na datech získaných v časovém období od září 2021 do května 2024 od e-sportové organizace HLTV.org a z výsledků dotazníkového šetření. To bylo v rámci práce provedeno ke zjištění oblíbenosti map napříč herní komunitou. Práce také nalyzuje, jak jednotlivé asymetrické prvky a mechaniky těchto videoher ovlivňují jejich vyrovnanost. Výstupem práce je interpretace vypočítaných hodnot korelace a tvorba grafických modelů v programovacím jazyce R. |

| Abstract: |
This thesis investigates the potential correlation between map popularity and match balance in the video games Counter‑Strike: Global Offensive and Counter‑Strike 2. The analysis is based on data obtained from the e-sport organization HLTV.org collected during the period from September 2021 to May 2024 and from results of a questionnaire. This questionnaire was conducted to assess the popularity of maps across this gaming community. The thesis also examines how various asymmetric elements and mechanics of these video games influence their balance. The output of the thesis includes the interpretation of the calculated correlation values and the creation of graphical models in the R programming language. |
