| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce zkoumá roli controllingu v konkrétním podniku na Slovensku působícím v hydraulickém průmyslu, který je součástí velké nadnárodní skupiny. Analyzuje organizační začlenění controllingu, vztah s ostatními odděleními a definuje základní odpovědnosti oddělení controllingu. Definuje jeho přínosy a vliv na podnikové rozhodování pomocí analýz jeho nástrojů a úloh. Výsledky naznačují aktivní účast controllerů na rozhodovacích procesech a využití pokročilých nástrojů, což podporuje efektivitu řízení a adaptaci na nové výzvy. Výzkum také zdůrazňuje potřebu neustálého zlepšování a využívání inovací pro efektivnější reportování. Tato práce nabízí lepší pochopení role controllingu v praxi a podporuje jeho implementaci či optimalizaci v jiných podnicích. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis examines the role of controlling in a specific company in Slovakia operating in the hydraulic industry, which is part of a large multinational group. It analyzes the organizational integration of controlling, its relationship with other departments, and defines the basic responsibilities of the controlling department. It delineates its benefits and impact on corporate decision-making through analyses of its tools and tasks. Findings indicate the active involvement of controllers in decision-making processes and the use of advanced tools, thus promoting management efficiency and adaptation to new challenges. The research also emphasizes the need for continuous improvement and innovation for more effective reporting. This work offers a better understanding of the role of controlling in practice and advocates for its implementation or optimization in other businesses. |
