| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem cestovního ruchu v České republice mezi lety 1989–2003. V první části práce jsou vysvětleny pojmy týkající se cestovního ruchu, a také ekonomické ukazatele, kterých se dotýká. Dále je zde poskytnut ucelený pohled na cestovní ruch před sametovou revolucí. Ve druhé části práce je analyzován cestovní ruch v průběhu 90. let minulého století, a to po stránce celkového objemu účastníků i vlivu na národní hospodářství. Cílem práce je prověření hypotézy, že uvolnění bariér pro zahraniční cestovní ruch významným způsobem podpořilo rozvoj cestovního ruchu v České republice. Tato hypotéza se za pomocí analýzy dat a jejich částečné komparace v praktické části potvrdila a cestovní ruch po pádu železné opony začal prosperovat i po ekonomické stránce. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the development of tourism in the Czech Republic between 1989-2003. The first part of the thesis explains the concepts related to tourism, as well as the economic indicators concerned. It also provides a comprehensive view of tourism before the Velvet Revolution. In the second part of the thesis, tourism during the 1990s is analyzed in terms of the total volume of participants and the impact on the national economy. The aim of the thesis is to test the hypothesis that the relaxation of barriers to foreign tourism significantly boosted the development of tourism in the Czech Republic. This hypothesis was confirmed by data analysis and partial comparison in the practical part and tourism started to prosper economically after the fall of the Iron Curtain. |
