Analysis of unemployment in the Česká Lípa district in the period 2013–2023

| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou nezaměstnanosti v regionu Česká Lípa, a to v rámci zvoleného období mezi lety 2013–2023. Cílem práce je analyzovat strukturu uchazečů o zaměstnání v evidenci úřadu práce a vývoj nezaměstnanosti podle vybraných ukazatelů. Teoretická část definuje pojmy, které souvisí s problematikou týkající se trhu práce a nezaměstnanosti jako makroekonomického ukazatele, který má významný socioekonomický vliv. Dále je v této části práce popsána aktivní i pasivní politika zaměstnanosti jako nástroj sloužící pro snížení nezaměstnanosti a charakterizována vybraná oblast pro analýzu. Praktická část, navazující na teoretické poznatky, je věnována analýze nezaměstnanosti v rámci zvoleného regionu ve sledovaném období a vyhodnocení skupin, které jsou nejvíce ohroženy nezaměstnaností. Na základě získaných dat a následně provedené analýzy vyplývá především výrazné zlepšení situace související s nezaměstnaností v rámci meziročního srovnání mezi lety 2013 a 2023. Z provedené analýzy plyne, že podíl nezaměstnaných osob se v rámci sledovaného období v regionu Česká Lípa výrazně snižoval. Mezi skupiny nejvíce ohrožené nezaměstnaností se řadí ženy, dále pak uchazeči ve věku 35–54 let a s nízkou úrovní vzdělání. Rekvalifikace je možností, jak tyto skupiny podpořit v získání nových dovedností a lepším přizpůsobení se na trhu práce. V závěru práce je provedeno vyhodnocení dat z dotazníkového šetření získaných od vybraných zaměstnavatelů, doplněné o charakteristiku těchto zaměstnavatelů působících v daném regionu, což přispívá k propojení konkrétních situací s danou problematikou a teoretickými poznatky. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of unemployment in the Česká Lípa region, within the selected period between 2013–2023. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the structure of job seekers in the employment office and the development of unemployment according to selected indicators. The theoretical part defines concepts related to the labour market and unemployment as a macroeconomic indicator that has a significant socio-economic impact. Furthermore, this part of the thesis describes active and passive employment policy as an instrument used to reduce unemployment and characterizes the selected area for analysis. The practical part, building on the theoretical findings, is devoted to the analysis of unemployment within the selected region in the period under study and the evaluation of the groups most at risk of unemployment. Based on the obtained data and the subsequent analysis, the main result is a significant improvement of the unemployment situation in the year-on-year comparison between 2013 and 2023. The analysis shows that the share of unemployed persons in the Česká Lípa region has been decreasing significantly during the period under study. The groups most at risk of unemployment are women, followed by jobseekers aged 35–54 and those with low levels of education. Retraining is an opportunity to support these groups in acquiring new skills and better adapting to the labour market. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of data from a questionnaire survey obtained from selected employers, supplemented by the characteristics of these employers operating in the region, which contributes to linking specific situations with the issue and theoretical knowledge. |
