| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rolí genderové nerovnosti v nezaměstnanosti mladých lidí v EU v letech 2012-2022. V teoretické části jsou pomocí literární rešerše vysvětleny základní ekonomické teorie týkající se nezaměstnanosti, trhů práce a genderové nerovnosti. V praktické části jsou analyzovány data spojena s nezaměstnaností mladých lidí, a to podle genderu, vzdělání a následně jsou i zmíněny trendy v jednotlivých zemích Evropské unie. Dále je provedena rešerše ohledně programů a politik EU na podporu rovnosti pohlaví na trhu práce a na podporu nezaměstnanosti mladých lidí. Výzkum je primárně založen na dostupných datech z Eurostatu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis examines the role of gender inequality in youth unemployment in the EU in 2012-2022. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the basic economic theories related to unemployment, labor markets, and gender inequality through a literature review. In the practical part, data on youth unemployment by gender and education are analyzed and then trends in different EU countries are mentioned. It also looks at EU programs and policies aimed at promoting gender equality in the labor market and tackling youth unemployment. The research is mainly based on available data from Eurostat. |
