The theoretical part outlines the topic of migration and integration of foreigners on the basis of a literature search, including the definition of key terms, economic theories of migration and the issue of integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic, including migration and asylum policy. The practical part of the thesis is based on a comparative analysis of data on migration and integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic for the years 2014 to 2022, thus providing new insights into this issue. The thesis itself also includes national economic recommendations for a more effective migration and integration of foreigners in the territory. The results of the work meet the stated objective and point to significant fluctuations in the number of incoming foreigners, which reflect the sensitivity of migrants to changes in the global environment, especially in the context of external factors such as pandemics and geopolitical events. |
