| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se věnuje ocenění akciové společnosti MSV Metal Studénka metodou diskontovaných peněžních toků. Cílem práce je pro investory stanovit předpokládanou hodnotu dané společnosti ke dni 1. ledna 2023 za účelem nabídky převzetí. Teoretická část vymezuje předpoklady a postupy spojené s procesem oceňování podniku. Aplikační část je věnována popisu společnosti, strategické a finanční analýze, generátorům hodnoty podniku, ze kterých je sestaven finanční plán, a samotnému ocenění. Vzhledem k tomu, že je společnost oceňována za účelem tvorby nabídky převzetí, je v práci kladen důraz na části, které hrají klíčovou roli pro investory při jejich rozhodování. |

| Abstract: | The master’s thesis focuses on the valuation of MSV Metal Studénka using the discounted cash flow method. The aim of the thesis is to determine the estimated value of the company as of January 1st, 2023 for the purpose of a takeover bid. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the assumptions and procedures associated with the business valuation process. The second part of the thesis is focused on the description of the company, strategic and financial analysis, generators of the company's value, from which the financial plan is compiled, and on the final valuation of the company. As the company is being valued for the purpose of making a takeover bid, the thesis emphasizes the sections that are important to investors in their decision making. |
