| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zkoumat vliv minimální mzdy na výplatu státní sociální podpory a její dopad na snížení chudoby v České republice v letech 2009 – 2022. Práce zkoumá jakým způsobem zvyšování minimální mzdy ovlivňuje příjmy občanů a jakým způsobem může ovlivnit jejich nároky na sociální podporu. Prvním hlavním cílem je ověřit hypotézu, že zvýšení minimální mzdy povede ke snížení počtu lidí závislých na sociálních dávkách. Druhým cílem práce je posouzení vlivu zvyšování minimální mzdy na snižování chudoby. Problematika přerozdělování státní sociální podpory je aktuální a má významný dopad na společnost. Tato práce přispívá k lepšímu pochopení vlivu minimální mzdy na životní situaci lidí závislých na sociální podpoře. Teoretická část práce se zabývá charakteristikou sociálněpolitických doktrín, shrnutím 2. pilíře sociálního zabezpečení v České republice, objasněním minimální mzdy, přehledem o chudobě v České republice a jejími metodami měření. Praktická část bakalářské práce obsahuje vývoj minimální mzdy za sledované období, analýzu vývoje dávek sociální podpory a vlivu minimální mzdy na ně, stejně tak obsahuje vývoj míry chudoby za pomoci dvou ukazatelů. Jedním je hranice příjmové chudoby a druhým míra materiální deprivace. Následně je použita korelační analýza a regresní analýza, kde jedním z proměnných jsou právě ukazatelé míry chudoby a druhou proměnnou je minimální mzda. Práce také obsahuje analýzu hrubých peněžních příjmů, která umožňuje charakterizovat trendy v podílu sociálních dávek na celkových příjmech. Výsledky slouží k posouzení vztahu mezi minimální mzdou a strukturou příjmů, a k určení dopadu na snižování chudoby. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis aims to examine the impact of the minimum wage on the payment of state social support and its impact on the reduction of poverty in the Czech Republic between 2009 and 2022. The thesis examines how the increase in the minimum wage affects the income of citizens and how it may affect their entitlement to social support. The first main objective is to test the hypothesis that an increase in the minimum wage will lead to a reduction in the number of people dependent on social benefits. The second objective of the paper is to assess the impact of minimum wage increases on poverty reduction. The issue of redistribution of state social assistance is a topical one and has a significant impact on society. This thesis contributes to a better understanding of the impact of the minimum wage on the living situation of people dependent on social assistance. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characteristics of social policy doctrines, a summary of the 2nd pillar of social security in the Czech Republic, an explanation of the minimum wage, an overview of poverty in the Czech Republic and its measurement methods. The practical part of the bachelor thesis contains the development of the minimum wage for the period under study, an analysis of the development of social support benefits and the impact of the minimum wage on them, as well as the development of the poverty rate using two indicators. One is the income poverty line and the other is the material deprivation rate. Subsequently, correlation analysis and regression analysis are used, where one of the variables is the poverty rate and the other is the minimum wage. The paper also includes an analysis of gross cash income, which allows characterizing trends in the share of social benefits in total income. The results are used to assess the relationship between the minimum wage and income structure, and to determine the impact on poverty reduction. |
