| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je zkoumání ekonomických a sociálních dopadů provozu kasin a gamblingu v České republice v letech 2012-2022. Pomocí literární rešerše jsou v teoretické části vymezeny základní pojmy týkající se hazardních činností. Dále se práce zabývá regulacemi kasin ze strany obcí a státu, které provádí výhradně Ministerstvo financí. Důraz je kladen také na ekonomické a sociální dopady gamblingu na společnost i na jedince. V praktické části se analýza věnuje ekonomickým dopadům, a to konkrétně datům spojené s regulacemi, výběrem daní a objemu peněz na trhu s hazardními hrami. Součástí jsou také data týkající se sociálních dopadů na společnost i na jedince. V závěru práce je dostupná komparace České republiky s dalšími státy světa z hlediska dat, které analyzují problematiku hazardního hraní. Data využitá pro analýzu i komparaci jsou čerpána z databáze Ministerstva financí České republiky, ze statistik Celní správy České republiky a z výročních zpráv Národního monitorovacího střediska pro drogy a závislosti. Závěr práce poskytuje výsledky analýzy, které značně napomohly k posouzení současného stavu, a také pro budoucí vývoj tohoto odvětví. Ve sledovaném období proběhla novelizace zákona o hazardních hrách a výrazně pomohla ke zlepšení situace v oblasti hazardu a kasin v České republice. Působením nového zákona dochází k minimalizaci provozu technických her, a také nelegálních provozoven hazardních her. Počet závislých osob se nepravidelně snižoval, nicméně prevence a léčba si žádá do budoucna zlepšení, což bylo hlavní téma doporučení v závěru bakalářské práce. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to examine the economic and social impacts of the operation of casinos and gambling in the Czech Republic in the years 2012-2022. With the help of literature research, basic terms related to gambling activities are defined in the theoretical part. The work deals with the regulation of casinos by municipalities and the state, which is carried out exclusively by the Ministry of Finance. Emphasis is also placed on the economic and social effects of gambling on society and on individuals. In the practical part, the analysis is devoted to economic impacts, namely data related to regulations, tax collection and the volume of money on the gambling market. It also includes data related to social impacts on society and individuals. At the end of the thesis, a comparison of the Czech Republic with other countries in the world is available from the point of view of data that analyzes the issue of gambling. The data used for analysis and comparison are drawn from the database of the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic, from the statistics of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic and from the annual reports of the National Monitoring Center for Drugs and Addiction. The conclusion of the work provides the results of the analysis, which greatly helped to assess the current state, as well as for the future development of this industry. In the period under review, the Gambling Act was amended and significantly helped to improve the situation in the field of gambling and casinos in the Czech Republic. The effect of the new law minimizes the operation of technical games, as well as illegal gambling establishments. The number of addicted people decreased irregularly, but prevention and treatment require improvement in the future, which was the main topic of the recommendation at the end of the bachelor's thesis. |
