| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na téma Ekonomika a fungování vězeňské služby České republiky v letech 2011-2021 a jejich dopad na státní rozpočet. V teoretické rovině se zaměřuje na historii i současný stav fenoménu fungování vězeňství a jeho efektivnosti. Dále se zabývá primárními pojmy souvisejícími s problematikou vězeňství a jejich legislativním pojetím. V praktické části také obsahuje statistické výstupy z analýzy příjmů a výdajů VSČR neboli rozpočtovou stránku VSČR v jednotlivých letech. Dále se v praktické části zabývá problematikou zaměstnanosti vězňů a jejich odměňováním. |

| Abstract: | This master's thesis focuses on the topic of Economics and the functioning of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic in the years 2011-2021 and their impact on the state budget. In the theoretical dimension, it delves into the history and current state of the phenomenon of prison operation and its effectiveness. Furthermore, it deals with primary concepts related to the issue of imprisonment and their legislative interpretation. The practical part also includes outputs from the analysis of income and expenditure of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, or the budgetary aspect of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic in individual years. Additionally, the practical part addresses the issue of prisoners' employment and their remuneration. |
