The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the impact of the minimum wage on the unemployment rate of people with primary education in the Czech Republic and in selected regions of the Czech Republic in the period 2013-2023. The analysis includes five econometric models to which the least squares method is applied. The model examining the effect of the minimum wage on the unemployment rate in the Czech Republic showed a non-significant effect on the unemployment rate. In this model, the exogenous variable nagatively affecting the unemployment rate is the growth rate of GDP.
