| Abstract: | Tato práce se zaměřuje na analýzu vlivu klimatické změny na ekonomický růst rozvojových a rozvinutých zemí. Za účelem zkoumání této problematiky je využit Solowův model, který poskytuje teoretický rámec pro analýzu vztahů mezi teplotními fluktuacemi a HDP. Empirická část práce využívá panelových dat a testuje vztah mezi členstvím v OECD, teplotou a hrubým domácím produktem. Výsledky nenaznačují, že hospodářská vyspělost může ovlivňovat reakci ekonomik na teplotní změny, jelikož se tento vliv neprokázal jako dostatečně významný. Práce zdůrazňuje komplexnost a důležitost této problematiky pro globální ekonomiku a naznačuje potřebu dalšího výzkumu a opatření k řešení dopadů klimatické změny na ekonomický růst. |

| Abstract: | This research focuses on the analysis of the impact of climate change on the economic growth of developing and developed countries. In order to investigate this issue, the Solow model is used to provide a theoretical framework to analyse the relationship between temperature fluctuations and GDP. The empirical part of the paper uses panel data and tests the relationship between OECD membership, temperature and GDP. The results do not suggest that economic development can affect the response of economies to temperature changes, as this effect has not been shown to be significant enough. The paper highlights the complexity and importance of this issue for the global economy and suggests the need for further research and action to address the impacts of climate change on economic growth. |
