| Abstract: | Suburbanizace vytváří problémy v oblasti dopravy, životního prostředí i společenských vztahů. Tato diplomová práce zkoumá, jak se Zeleneč, malá obec za Prahou, s těmito dopady vypořádává, a snaží se nabídnout doporučení pro obce, které čelí podobným výzvám. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké kroky vedení obce v souvislosti s nárůstem počtu obyvatel podniklo, a jaké to mělo dopady na místní obyvatelstvo. Z metodologického hlediska využívá dotazníkové šetření provedené mezi obyvateli obce a polostrukturované rozhovory se současným i bývalým starostou. Výsledky ukazují, že obec vyloučila větší napětí mezi starými a novými obyvateli prostřednictvím rozvoje infrastruktury a částečně zabránila ztrátě identity podporou komunit a kultivací prostředí. Problémy s dopravou a monofunkčnost území však stále přetrvávají. Poučení ze zkušeností Zelenče poskytuje poznatky pro podporu udržitelného suburbánního rozvoje v jiných obcích. |

| Abstract: | Suburbanisation creates problems in the areas of transport, environment and social relations. This thesis examines how Zeleneč, a small municipality outside of Prague, is dealing with these impacts and seeks to offer recommendations for municipalities facing similar challenges. The aim of this thesis is to find out what steps the municipal leadership has taken in relation to the population growth and what impact this has had on the local population. Methodologically, it employed a questionnaire survey conducted among village residents and a semi-structured interview with the current and former mayor. The results show that Zeleneč has eliminated greater tensions between old and new residents through infrastructure development and has partially prevented a loss of identity by fostering communities and cultivating the environment. However, traffic issues and mono-functionality of the area still persist. Lessons from Zeleneč's experience provide insights for fostering sustainable suburban development in other municipalities. |
