| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice výběru optimálního způsobu přepravy zboží z Číny do Evropy. Cílem práce je srovnání dvou hlavních možností, a to konkrétně železniční a námořní přepravy. Základním kritériem pro výběr je cena přepravy, avšak práce dále zohledňuje také dobu přepravy a vliv kapitálových nákladů vázaných v zásobách během přepravy. Výsledkem je určení bodu zvratu pro vyrovnání nákladů na obě možnosti přepravy, který liší v závislosti na vzdálenosti od destinace a hodnotě zboží. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of selecting the optimal mode of transport of goods from China to Europe. The aim of the thesis is to compare two main options, namely rail and sea transport. The primary criterion for selection is the transportation cost, but the thesis also considers the transport time and the impact of capital costs tied up in inventory during transport. The result is the determination of the break-even point for equalizing the costs of both transport options, which varies depending on the distance from the destination and the value of the goods. |
