| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou letišť. V práci jsou porovnány 2 evropská letiště, Letiště Václava Havla v Praze s Letištěm Josep Tarradellas -El Prat v Barceloně. V teoretické částí jsou popsány základní termíny jako letecká doprava a její historie a vývoj, letový park, letiště, výkonové ukazatel, a klíčové letecké organizace. Praktická část se zaměřuje na historii, vývoj a infrastrukturu obou letišť. Dále pak na nabízené služby, klíčové výkonové ukazatele, dopravu na letiště a budoucnost letišť. Obě letiště jsou nejprve analyzována samostatně. Tyto poznatky jsou následně podrobeny srovnávací analýze s cílem určit silné a slabé stránky, postavení letišť a jejich konkurenceschopnost. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of airports. The thesis compares 2 European airports, namely Václav Havel Airport in Prague and Josep Tarradellas-El Prat Airport in Barcelona. The theoretical part describes basic terms such as air transport and its history and development, air fleet, airports, performance indicator, and key aviation organizations. The practical part is focused on the history, development and infrastructure of both airports. It also looks at the provided services, key performance indicators, transport to the airports and the future of the airports. The two airports are first analysed separately. These findings are then subjected to a comparative analysis in order to identify the strengths, weaknesses, positioning and competitiveness of the airports. |
