| Abstract: | Cílem práce je připravit možná doporučení pro galerii digitálního umění týkající se fyzického vystavování digitálních děl. Práce se soustředí na téma propojení technologického virtuálního světa s fyzickými galeriemi umění a zabývá se i novými přístupy jako je kurátorství, NFT a web3. Teoretická část se věnuje jednotlivým druhům digitálního umění a pojmům v oblasti digitálních technologií. Následně představuje charakteristiku galerie, možnosti financování, praxi kurátora a popis NFT. Praktická část analyzuje prostřednictvím individuálních polostrukturovaných rozhovorů konkrétní galerii digitálního umění a její přístup k vystavování děl. Předmětem zkoumání jsou možnosti a bariéry prezentace děl digitální povahy a respondenty zvolené metody vystavování a managementu galerie. Výzkum též cílí na možné přínosy fyzického vystavování samotným umělcům a sběratelům umění. Na závěr jsou poskytnuta doporučení vycházející ze získaných poznatků z analýzy dané instituce, která mohou sloužit jako informační zdroj galeriím stejného zaměření, manažerům, kurátorům, ale i umělcům, kteří mají zájem o fyzickou prezentaci digitálních děl a orientaci v neustále se vyvíjející sféře moderních technologií. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to develop actionable recommendations for digital art galleries regarding the physical exhibition of digital artworks. It explores the intersection of the technological virtual world with physical art galleries, examining emerging approaches such as curatorship, NFTs and the decentralized web3 ecosystem. The theoretical framework establishes a comprehensive understanding of various digital art forms and key terminology in regard of digital technologies. Additionally, it explores the characteristics of art galleries, the role of curators in a digital art exhibiting, funding sources possibilities and the description of NFTs. The practical component delves into an in-depth analysis of a specific digital art gallery, employing semi-structured interviews in order to gather insights into its exhibition practices and management strategies. The research investigates the opportunities and challenges associated with presenting digital artworks and explores the interviewee work methods. The research also aims on potential benefits a possibilities the physical exhibitioning brings to the artists and collectors. The results derived from the analysis of the examined institution culminate in a set of recommendations, which might serve as a valuable resource for galleries specializing in digital art, offering guidance to managers, curators, and artists seeking to navigate the ever-evolving realm of modern technologies and physical art presentations. |
