| Abstract: | Práce analyzuje činnost Městského divadla Mladá Boleslav a jeho roli v kulturním životě města. První část práce se zaměřuje zejména na rozbor historie a současnosti mladoboleslavského divadla a jednotlivých kulturních institucí, které jsou divadlu partnerem při realizaci projektů, ale také konkurentem. Druhá část se věnuje porovnání v rámci jednotlivých výkonnostních ukazatelů s kladenským a zlínským divadlem, dotazníkovému šetření mezi obyvateli Mladoboleslavska a rozhovoru se současnou dramaturgyní Městského divadla Mladá Boleslav. Závěrem práce jsou uvedeny možné návrhy zlepšení činnosti divadla, které vychází z provedené SWOT analýzy. |

| Abstract: | The thesis analyses the activities of the Municipal Theatre of Mladá Boleslav and its role in the cultural life of the city. The first part of the work focuses mainly on the analysis of the history and present of the Mladá Boleslav theatre and individual cultural institutions, which are the theatre's partners in the implementation of projects, but also a competitor. The second part is devoted to a comparison of individual performance indicators with the Kladno and Zlín theatres, a questionnaire survey among the residents of Mladá Boleslav region, and an interview with the current dramaturg of the Mladá Boleslav Municipal Theatre. At the end of the thesis, possible proposals for improving the theatre's activities are presented, which are based on the SWOT analysis. |
