| Abstract: | Předmětem bakalářské práce na téma „Využití Big Data v silniční dopravě“ je porozumění možnostem využití Big Data v silniční dopravě a nastínění možností uplatnění pro logistickou společnost specializující se na silniční nákladní dopravu. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá třemi podkapitolami. První se zaobírá představením termínu Big Data a druhá charakterizuje obor silniční dopravy. Třetí část se zaměřuje na využití Big Data v silniční dopravě a představuje konkrétní možnosti využití v silniční infrastruktuře, bezpečnosti a také v rámci silniční nákladní dopravy. Jsou zde popsány konkrétní možnosti využití Big Data pro optimalizaci procesů nákladní dopravy. V praktické části je kladen důraz na společnost CHB Logistics s.r.o., která se zabývá silniční nákladní dopravou a dalšími logistickými službami. V této části byla provedena analýza aktuálního využití digitálních dat ve společnosti CHB Logistics s.r.o. pomocí hloubkového rozhovoru s hlavním manažerem dopravního oddělení. Poznatky z analýzy byly využity k posouzení možností optimalizace aktuálních logistických procesů skrze softwarové logistické aplikace zpracovávající digitální data. |

| Abstract: | The subject of the bachelor thesis on "The use of Big Data in Road Transport" is to understand the possibilities of using Big Data in road transport and to outline the possibilities of application for a logistics company specializing in road freight transport. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with three subchapters. The first one deals with the introduction of the term Big Data and the second one characterizes the road transport industry. The third part focuses on the use of Big Data in road transport and presents specific possibilities of application in road infrastructure, safety, and also in road freight transport, where specific possibilities of using Big Data for optimization of freight transport processes are described. In the practical part, the focus is on CHB Logistics s.r.o., which deals with road freight transport and other logistics services. In this part, an analysis of the current use of digital data in CHB Logistics s.r.o. was conducted using an in-depth interview with the main manager of the transport department. The findings from the analysis were used to assess the possibilities of optimizing current logistics processes through logistics software applications that process digital data. |
