| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou a srovnáním emisních stop různých typů leteckých dopravců včetně charterových, low-cost, regionálních a full-service společností. Studie je motivována rostoucím dopadem letecké dopravy na životní prostředí, zvláště v kontextu emisí skleníkových plynů. Metodologie práce spočívá ve výpočtu celkových emisí CO2, NOx a N2O na základě spotřeby paliva a počtu přepravených pasažérů za pomoci vzorce od Centra dopravního výzkumu. V praktické části jsou představeny a porovnány vybrané letecké společnosti působící na americkém trhu, včetně jejich flotil, provozních modelů a emisních profilů. Analýza odhalila značné rozdíly mezi jednotlivými typy dopravců. Z výsledků vyplývá, že charteroví dopravci mají obecně nižší emisní efektivitu na pasažéra, což lze přičíst nižšímu počtu přepravených cestujících a specifičtějším modelům provozu. Naopak, low-cost a regionální dopravci ukázali lepší výsledky, přičemž low-cost dopravci se vyznačovali relativně nižšími emisemi na pasažéra díky vyšší efektivitě a plnějším letům. Full-service dopravci vykázali nejhorší výsledky ze všech. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and comparison of emission footprints of different types of air carriers including charter, low-cost, regional and full-service airlines. The study is motivated by the growing environmental impact of air transport, particularly in the context of greenhouse gas emissions. The methodology of the thesis is to calculate total CO2, NOx and N2O emissions based on fuel consumption and number of passengers carried using a formula from the Transportation Research Center. The practical part presents and compares selected airlines operating in the US market, including their fleets, operating models and emission profiles. The analysis reveals significant differences between the different types of carriers. The results show that charter carriers generally have lower emissions efficiency per passenger, which can be attributed to lower passenger volumes and more specific operating models. In contrast, low-cost and regional carriers showed better results, with low-cost carriers having relatively lower emissions per passenger due to higher efficiency and fuller flights. Full-service carriers performed worst of all. |
