| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem diskriminace na trhu práce v oblasti pojišťovnictví. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda je certifikace EDGE účinným opatřením proti diskriminaci ve společnostech. Teoretická část se s využitím odborné literatury věnovala diskriminaci žen, genderovým kvótám, antidiskriminačním zákonům a certifikaci EDGE. Tímto tvoří ucelený základ pro analytickou část, ve které byly nejprve pomocí sekundárních dat rozebrány mzdové rozdíly v České republice, konkrétně v sektoru pojišťovnictví a následně byl proveden osobní rozhovor v pojišťovně Allianz. Ten byl dále doplněn dotazníkovým šetřením mezi zaměstnanci. Na základě provedené analýzy, osobního rozhovoru a dotazníkového šetření jsou vyvozeny závěry a doporučení pro ostatní společnosti na pracovním trhu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of labour market discrimination in the insurance industry. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether EDGE certification is an effective measure against discrimination in companies. The theoretical part with the help of literature has been devoted to discrimination against women, gender quotas, anti-discrimination laws and EDGE certification. This forms a comprehensive basis for the analytical part, which first analysed the gender pay gap in the Czech Republic, specifically in the insurance sector, using secondary data, and then conducted a personal interview in the insurance company Allianz. This was further supplemented by a questionnaire survey of employees. Based on the analysis, the personal interview and the questionnaire survey, conclusions and recommendations are drawn for other companies on the labour market. |
