| Abstract: | Diskriminace žen na trhu práce je významným problémem ovlivňujícím schopnost žen plně se zapojit do společnosti. Tato práce se zaměřuje na srovnání úrovně diskriminace žen na trhu práce v České republice a v Kazachstánu, s důrazem na nábor, odměňování a profesní segregaci. Cílem práce je identifikovat podobnosti a rozdíly v postavení žen na trhu práce, analyzovat faktory ovlivňující tyto rozdíly a navrhnout možná opatření k jejich zlepšení. Teoretická část práce definuje klíčové pojmy související s diskriminací žen na trhu práce, analyzuje současnou situaci v obou zemích pomocí dat Českého statistického úřadu a Národního statistického úřadu Kazachstánu. Praktická část zahrnuje kvantitativní výzkum názorů obyvatel na existenci diskriminace žen na trhu práce. Závěrem práce je to, že nerovnost v odměňování mezi muži a ženami není v Kazachstánu větší než v České republice. Profesní segregace není výraznější v Kazachstánu než v České republice, ale náborové bariéry jsou v Kazachstánu výraznější než v České republice. |

| Abstract: | The discrimination of women in the labour market is a significant issue with an impact on the ability of women to be fully involved in society. This study focuses on comparing the level of discrimination against women in the labour market in the Czech Republic and Kazakhstan, with an emphasis on employment, remuneration, and professional segregation. The aim of the study is to identify similarities and differences in the position of women in the labour market, analyse factors influencing these differences, and suggest possible measures for improvement. The theoretical part of the study defines key concepts related to the discrimination of women in the labour market and analyses the current situation in both countries using data from the Czech Statistical Office and the National Statistical Office of Kazakhstan. The practical part includes quantitative research on the opinions of residents regarding the existence of discrimination against women in the labour market. The outcome of the study is that the gender pay gap in Kazakhstan is not larger than in the Czech Republic. Professional segregation is not more pronounced in Kazakhstan than in the Czech Republic, but recruitment barriers are more significant in Kazakhstan than in the Czech Republic. |
