Abstract: | This thesis explores the landscape of gender representation in Ukrainian entrepreneurship and executive roles from 2021 to 2023. The research investigates how geopolitical challenges, cultural stereotypes, and historical heritage impact women's participation and advancement in business. It explores the socioeconomic benefits of increasing female participation in business. Using a statistical approach, the quantitative analysis examines regional disparities in female CEO representation, revealing significant differences between Western and Eastern regions of Ukraine. Qualitative insights from in-depth interviews with five women leaders identify common barriers, such as cultural stereotypes, limited access to resources, and balancing professional and personal responsibilities. Ultimately, this research provides actionable insights into women's evolving role in Ukrainian business. |
