| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá komplexní ekonomickou analýzou společnosti ČD Cargo, která zahrnuje finanční a strategickou analýzu. Cílem této práce je posoudit atraktivitu společnosti ČD Cargo jako potenciální investici pro soukromého investora a určit aktuální hodnotu společnosti. V první části práce je provedena strategická analýza, která se zaměřuje na tržní postavení, konkurenční výhody, Porterův model 5 sil a analýzu makrookolí za pomocí PEST analýzy. Ve druhé části je provedena finanční analýza, která hodnotí finanční zdraví, výkonnost a hodnotu společnosti na základě likvidity, zadluženosti, rentabilitě a vývoje cash flow. V případě, že společnost není aktuálně atraktivní investicí pro soukromého investora, práce identifikuje možnosti a opatření, která by mohla zvýšit její investiční atraktivitu. Na základě provedených analýz a doporučených opatření tato práce poskytuje užitečné poznatky pro soukromé investory i v obecném měřítku, kdy práce investora provádí kompletní analýzou podniku. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with a comprehensive economic analysis of ČD Cargo, which includes financial and strategic analysis. The aim of this thesis is to assess the attractiveness of ČD Cargo as a potential investment for a private investor and to determine the current value of the company. In the first part of the thesis, a strategic analysis is conducted, which focuses on market position, competitive advantages, Porter's 5 forces model and macro environment analysis using PEST analysis. In the second part, a financial analysis is conducted to assess the financial health, performance and value of the company based on liquidity, debt, profitability and cash flow trends. If the company is not currently an attractive investment for a private investor, the thesis identifies options and measures that could increase the company's investment attractiveness. Based on the analyses performed and the measures recommended, this thesis provides useful insights for private investors and in general, when the investor's thesis performs a complete analysis of the company. |
