Abstract:
The research aims to understand the framework of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) and its practices. Based on that understanding, a deeper research will be conducted to investigate the relationship between GHRM, job satisfaction and job performance in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry in Vietnam. Even though GHRM is widely acknowledged, it is currently not familiar with Vietnamese employees and leaders. The study uses the qualitative method with in-depth interviews to discover the importance of GHRM on employee’s job satisfaction and job performance. Even with the lack of academic knowledge about GHRM, it is unnoticeably applied among Vietnamese leaders which creates a positive impact on their employee’s job satisfaction. This research highlights the critical and crucial role that green human resource management plays on employee’s job satisfaction and job performance.
